Activities

SSA organizes many activities year-round. Some are cultural events, aimed at promoting awareness of Singapore among the campus community, while others are trips and games to give members a chance to interact. We also make it a point to have mini-events called chills every forthnight or so, allowing members to keep in touch.

Singapore Food Festival

An annual gastronomic extravaganza, showcasing the greatest cultures of all Singapore has to offer: its food! Excite your tastebuds, from the greasy char kway teow, to a refreshing bowl of ice kachang.

SSA participates in Booth every year. So far we've always managed to be within the top 3 positions. Get your tools out and start building...

Chinese New Year Dinner

Usher in a new year Singapore-style, with fish-tossing yu sheng salad, and a steamboat dinner. Meet up with old friends, and get to make new ones too.

Cultural Activities

Singapore Food Festival :: A showcase of Singaporean cuisines.
Mid Autumn Festival :: Tea, mooncakes, and general festivity. Jointly organized with ARCC.
Chinese New Year Dinner :: Usher in the new year Singapore-style.
Night Market :: Food and drinks all night long. Organized by ARCC.

Sports and Games

Paintball :: Didn't get enough of the army? Enlist here!
White Water Rafting :: Hurtling down the rapids; hard to get more fun than this.
Snowfight :: Singaporeans don't see much snow you know...

Other Activities

Grove City Trip :: The best place to equip yourself for the cold, or for anything at all in fact.
End-of-Semester Dinner/BBQ :: Celebrate yet another semester down with (what else?) food!
Booth :: Nails, wood, wires, paint. You know the drill.
