Housing is definitely a big thing for all incoming freshmen. Its probably the first time in your life that you get to choose a place to live, and a place you'll be spending almsot a year in at that. Staying in a dorm is also where you get to meet new friends from all over the world, and really integrate into the campus community.

These buildings are very near the central campus. Not as many freshmen get to stay here though.
Morewood Avenue is just across Forbes Avenue and the University Center. Still really close to campus, although the main academic builds are slightly further away.
These apartments are considered off-campus, which comes with its own benefits and liabilities. It can take as long as 10 minutes to walk to school, but you get a relatively big apartment with your own kitchen, and you can get off the regular mealplan as well.
